Seguramente has escuchado la expresión: “Todas las modas regresan”, y el área del maquillaje no se queda atrás, se trata del mod eye makeup ese estilo popular en la década de los 60´s usado por la modelo Twiggy, y que el Tik Tok está dándole gran popularidad hoy en día.

Todos tienen su propio método para crear el mod eye makeup, y las beauty bloggers pueden hacerlo que parezca fácil, pero hacerlo por primera vez puede ser intimidante, especialmente si no posees una destreza en el delineado de ojos.

Si este es tu caso ¡No te preocupes!, hoy te vamos a explicar cómo hacer este maquillaje mod y así te sentirás como las modelos de los años 60´s.

Asegúrate de tener los productos y las herramientas adecuadas

Un delineador de ojos en gel o el clásico kohl negro (lápiz) no es negociable para realizar el mod eye makeup. La elección entre gel o kohl depende de ti.

Cerciórate de que sea una fórmula duradera y no se seque de inmediato para que tengas un pequeño margen de tiempo para trabajarlo antes de que se seque.

Las pestañas las naturales son hermosas pero…buscamos un poco de drama en la mirada, y eso lo lograras con una máscara negra intensa que te aporte volumen, además de un buen par de pestañas postizas ellas deben ser largas y estar separadas para luego “apelmazarlas” como marca la tendencia.    

Comienza con un trazo pequeño del delineador de ojos, esto será la clave para hacer el mod eye makeup

Es importante comenzar con lo que sabes: Un bonito ojo de gato, sí el que haces con tu delineador líquido.

Haz una línea delgada con el delineador negro directamente en el surco de las pestañas, manteniéndola lo más fina posible, luego extiéndela un poco, pero llévelo hacia adentro y detente en la esquina interna del ojo. 

Al momento de hacer la “cola” del trazo, no la dibujes hacia arriba, como siempre, esta vez hazla hacia abajo.

Recuerda que la idea de este maquillaje es crear la ilusión de unos ojos más grandes y una mirada profunda.

Completa el look con pestañas superiores e inferiores espectaculares

Antes de terminar tu makeup, hay un par de detalles que te darán más dramatismo en tu mirada.

Primero, te aconsejamos aplicar una sombra de ojos blanca o un delineador de color nude en la línea inferior de tus ojos, esto te ayudará a que se vean más grandes.

Segundo, las pestañas deben tener una mayor densidad, color y profundidad. Para ello usa una capa de tu máscara y posteriormente pega tus pestañas postizas (Es un proceso similar a un makeup regular).

Como último paso, repasaremos con máscara las pestañas inferiores y si eres más audaz puedes pintar con un lápiz, algunas más para aportar densidad a ellas.
