Si sólo te centras en los embarazos y enfermedades de transmisión sexual, tus hijos nunca entenderá de ti lo que significa el placer, y lo averiguarán en otro lado, o se alejarán del placer por miedo.
Si consideras que como madre/padre te da vergüenza hablar de sexo o tienes desconocimiento y te da miedo hablarlo por no saber qué decir o qué irán a preguntar, es importante que busques ayuda en un psicólogo-sexólogo que te sepa orientar para que le des una buena psicoeducación sexual a tus hijos.
¿Tus hijos ya están grandes y no sabes cómo abordar el tema?, puedes hacerlo a través de preguntas: ¿de qué cosas te has enterado sobre la sexualidad humana? Y empezar a construir conocimiento desde ahí.
No debes manejar estas conversaciones desde la ansiedad sino desde la naturalización, tranquilidad y responsabilidad. No pierdas el foco: tus hijos son producto del sexo y el sexo no es malo.
Además, los estudios indican que los hijos que reciben información clara sobre la sexualidad de parte de sus padres, alargan la fecha de iniciación sexual.
Así que no temas en hablar de sexo con tus hijos porque no los estás incitando a tener sexo antes de tiempo.
